I tasted the 2007s at the winery in November 2009 and then again in New York in January 2010

It should show much better with a little more time in bottle

weight and power as well as a bit more complexity to the mineral-driven and impeccably well-balanced finish that is both explosive and palate staining

It should continue to evolve gracefully on its balance and palate-saturating breadth

Deep and layered in the glass, the 2011 offers attractive scents of dark red cherry, tobacco, menthol and licorice, all in a deep, explosive wine that is sure to deliver considerable intrigue and pleasure over the next 10 15 years or so.
